He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Nell Messer. Billy was a very successful business man, serving as President of Provider Enterprise LLC. He overcame many obstacles in his life but never let anything hold him back from the life he wanted to lead. He never met a stranger and would give to others without a second thought. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Besides his family being his life, he was also an avid fisherman who loved the lake. He was truly a great man and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy Messer; daughters, Stacy (Shaun) Coppock and Shelly (Ryan) Calonge; grandchildren, Shaun David Coppock, Jr., Shelby Coppock, and Greyson Calonge; father, Frank Messer, Sr.; sisters, Nellie (George) Austin and Linda Gayle (Bob) Cathey; brothers, Albert (Donna), Buddy, Eddie (Sue), and Robert (Glenda) Messer.
