It is my hope that the person that this story is about contacts me or contributes his comments... One time Billy and I were on a drive and the series Lonesome Dove was playing on TV. We talked about people you could trust in our industry and the cowboy handshake and the value of someones word. Billy made it clear that he did not do contracts etc. but that if you ask anyone they would vouch for Billy's word. We talked of people that paid out their team when they had a positeve deal for the sale of their company and people that kept their word. He told me how he was fair to his partner and brother Eddie during Medical Associates days. Some how I just said out of know where you know one of the greatest things a guy could be know for would be if you were given a brief case full of money by someone who believed in you and 10 years later you came back and found the full amount or then some. To my surprise Billy said that happened to me. I had a person not even real close to me who went to prison hand me a brown paper bag loaded with cash, lot's of cash. Billy put it away in a safe place and never even looked into it, years passed and the person came back and Billy handed over the cash. A great life lesson!
